DeAngelis Family Dentistry is her dream boutique office which has a calm environment using aromatherapy with essential oils to relax patients.
Dr. Anakarina DeAngelis was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. During summer breaks, she worked with her uncles who were dentists in their practices. It was this adventure that led her to pursue her passion of serving the community and becoming a dentist.
Dr. DeAngelis went to the “Universidad Central de Venezuela” and earned her DDS degree in 1997, where she practiced 3 years. She had visited California during her teenage years and fell in love with it, and decided after working for a few years to take a extended vacation to San Diego. After few months here, she met a group of Dentists who needed an Orthodontic research assistant for a private project. Dr. DeAngelis earned her American DDS degree from University of Southern California (USC) where she was honored on the Dean’s list during her years at the school.
